We are going on a two-day trip today, so this will likely be short.  Going to our favorite Indian Casino and Resort in the hills east of Oceanside.  Uphill.  About 65 miles from here.  They have an HK restaurant.  And a spa.  So, a pedicure for me!

10:08 a.m. Monday, we just had an earthquake.  No signs of damage.  Scary.  News says it was a 5.2.  Center SE of us, inland.  I was at my desk and the desk lampshade shook.

Just back from seeing The Amateur at the movies.  We thought good, tense drama.  It was better than a mere “shoot ‘em up” or “blow ‘em up.”  Had some secondary plots, good lead actor.

Kath found me a new pair of moccasins.  I had forgotten that there is a brand called Minnetonka, that has made many types of them for many years.  In a rare success story, we ordered a pair online, and they fit perfectly!
